Resource Spotlight: New Idaho STEM Research

This Idaho-based study explores how STEM education resources align with the needs of K–12 educators across the state, with a particular focus on rural and mixed-region communities. Led by researchers from Boise State University and the University of Idaho in partnership with the Idaho STEM Action Center, the report highlights key barriers educators face—most notably time, awareness, and access—and emphasizes the importance of place-based learning and coordinated support systems.

This resource is valuable for educators, partners, and organizations seeking to better understand how strong STEM ecosystems can reduce burden on teachers and strengthen connections between classrooms, local industries, and communities.
