The L'SPACE Program is a NASA-funded, virtual, workforce development program designed to train and educate students about the dynamic world of the space industry through hands-on learning. There are two Academies - the Mission Concept Academy and the NASA Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience Academy. The L'SPACE Program is a workforce development program, not an internship.
As a workforce development program, the L'SPACE Program teaches industry standard procedures and protocols to students who are interested in pursuing a career with NASA or other space companies. This experience will enhance students' skill sets and understanding of what it's like to work professionally for NASA, making them more marketable for future employers.
