Spudjamin Franklin Light-Up Circuit Card
Celebrate America 250 Idaho with this fun, hands-on STEM activity! Create your own light-up “Spudjamin Franklin” card while learning the basics of circuits.

Instructions:

  1. Download the Attached PDF

  2. Print double-sided — be sure to select “flip on the short edge.”

  3. Gather your supplies:

    • 1 5mm LED Light (any color)

    • Adhesive Copper Circuit Tape

    • Masking tape

    • 1 3V coin cell battery (CR2032 recommended)

  4. Follow the template to build your circuit — connect the LED and battery using the copper tape, then secure with masking tape.

  5. When your circuit is complete, your “Spudjamin Franklin” will light up!
